Swati Shah has a BS in Business & Accounting is certified in Computer Applications and has graduated in Indian Classical Dance under renowned Indian classic dancer Mallika Sarabhai.Her multidisciplinary training in both the sciences and the arts allows her to bring unique teaching approaches to the classroom. Swati also holds Early Childhood Development credentials and has worked as a lead preschool teacher. She is a Certified Kids Yoga Instructor from Its Kids Yoga, San Francisco. Additionally, Swati served the PTA board for 5 years at John Sinnott Elementary school in Milpitas. She was awarded the prestigious Parent Award by Mr. McMurray, the principal of Rancho Middle School in Milpitas, for organizing several events to help build a stronger community. She has worked for ten plus year in tandem with the Milpitas Community Center. She is active Milpitas High School PTSA President for the year 2020-2022. Swati lives with her husband and 2 boys, aged 14 & 9, in California for the past 19 years.
Pinky Gala has over seven years of experience of teaching art. Besides art education, Pinky has credentials in Early Childhood Education and experience working in nonprofits. Young child wellness is at the core of her teaching philosophy; she believes that allowing a young child access to a nurturing, affectionate environment with a focus on strengthening core skills in the elementary years paves the way for healthy, prosperous, and well-adjusted adulthood. She has been an active volunteer for over half a decade, where shalas ( intense instruction camps) help prepare young minds for the world – embracing their twin identities as American citizens with a multicultural heritage. Currently Pinky Gala offers art instruction through the Milpitas Community Center.
